Before I give it a try and before I mess something up, has anyone removed their back seat bottom cushion (only)? Any tricks or hints? When the folding seat backs go down are they 'flat'? Do I need to place something under the folding seat backs to support them? Currently my seat backs when down are not flat and are angled. This is not good for my old Retriever in her crate for our six hour ride to our cabin.

Thank you for your post. I reread my Original Post and I was not clear what I needed. I only want to remove the lower cushion to see if the sear backs will lay flat. I hadn't mentioned that wee fact in my post. Thank you for your post. I usually don't YouTube, but I will go surfing there since you brought it to my attention.

I just need to get in there and fool around. Kinda like when we were 16 and had no clue! Well, maybe not that back woods, but I have no doubt that y'all 'get it'.
