Where are the performance mods?

Why is there only tunes and cat back exhausts? I just got my vsport and figured there would be all kinds of aftermarket for it. Upgraded intercoolers. Turbo wheels etc.

Limited sales of our vehicles has a huge impact on aftermarket development. I'm surprised at the commitment we have so far from some companies like trifecta Livernois and Corsa. The return on investment is pretty limited unfortunately so from a business standpoint it really doesn't make much sense. I hope we do get some spillover from the atsV like some other poster stated. Unfortunately if the AtsV doesn't sell we'll be in the same boat. A more effective intercooler would be nice because heat soak is a huge issue on our vehicles especially with modded tune. I think you'll find quite a few discussions about wheels and tires in the appearance mods section. Welcome to the club and congratulations on your V Sport.

Previous V's relied on the widely used LSx motors so the support was already there. The Vsport is the first to use the highly complex and low volume LF3, so uncharted territory. I'm guessing support will increase over time as the TT3.6 evolves and finds more homes, but it's going to be a slow roll out. As stated in other threads, HPFP is the current ceiling for power and the intercooler is heavily integrated into the manifold. There is a reason that this car has very little turbo lag, its well thought out so the easy improvements we're used to have already been engineered into the system. I bet too that the aftermarket is hard time improving things to the point of meaningful gains while maintaining OEM driveability and at a price point that would interest enough people.

My understanding is the Camaro V6 3.6 is not the turbo, naturally aspirated but improved. The base 2.0T is the same as the ATS/CTS. The TT3.6 would step on LT1 sales too much, its one or the other and Camaro fans aren't ready for the V8 to go away, even if most buyers opt for the V6. And to Renegade, the ZL1 and V3 have nothing in common with potential Vsport performance mods, those are powered by LSA and LT4 respectively. Unless and until the TT3.6 finds its way into something more mainstream the Vsport will never have much support in the aftermarket. But why does it matter when Trifecta offers a near 20% power gain in 10 minutes and you retain all the desirable OEM drivetrain characteristics including an air filter that feeds the engine clean air instead of what those pink oily old T-shirt filters offer??

I was thinking more like a fuel system kit to run e85 and an e85 tune from trifecta!

I dont know what the limiting factors are in the trifecta tune though. Like did they stop because of knock limit of 93 octane. Or because the engine or tranny wont hold much more? Or maybe the stock turbos arent efficient with any more boost. Whats the weak link in the powertrain?
