probably something wrong in the wiring. i would suggest taking it back to who installed and have them fix it. did they use a wire harness?

 

i have a memphis 16-6ix they tap that into the factory amp.....it was fine untill like 5 minutes in . I tried to reset it by removing the battery and leave the key on "On" for 3 minutes and then switching it off then finnaly starting the motor but it still say's the same thing

 

i guess ill wait till morning to take another look at it. could it be cause they ran the remote wire to my ign?

 

could be steering position sensor? blown fuse or relay?

 

what fuses should i be checking and where is the steering position sensor located?

 

Steering position sensor is on the steering shaft in the colum.
Its a common problem that causes "service stability system" message.

 

"service stability system" message is the same as "service brake assist"?

just check all the fuses are fine.....im thinking bout just takeing the system out and selling it then bringing it to the dealership to get it fixed

 

took out my whole system and the car if fine now...i will never try that again
