Im having a tough time with this one.
The task is rather easy, yet there are some important steps.
First of all, the speakers do not come out through the trunk!
Now that is settled, go into the truck and remove four caps hanging down under the cyclops brake light area. Remove the panel that they secure.
Inside the car, assuming the front seats are still installed, move both forward to gain easier access to the rear set area.
Remove the rear seat bottom by using a heavy long screw driver and slipping it in under the seat and popping it up off the clips. Take it out and clean it while its out.
Loosen the two lower set bolts where the seat belts are. They do not have to come out all the way.
In the trunk using an extension or two and a deep 10mm socket remove the two outboard nuts that hold the seat back in.
Remove the rear seat back and clean it while its out.
Remove the two hand holds from the side panel. Pop the covers and remove the screws.
Now that the seat bottom is out, remove the carpet retainer screw (one on each side) and with a clip removing tool ( I got a set at Harbor Freight for about $4.00-blue plastiv - would not be without them) pop out the carpet retainer. Clean, and reorder any broken clips from

Now that the handles are off and the carpet retainer is out of the way, using the clip tools pop the side panels out. Clean, inspect for any broken clips, and order from the source I gave you.
The cyclops brake light cover slide back from the rear wind for removal. Then remove one screw and the bulbs and remove the light.
Finally, the back deck panel is clipped on-pop the retainers and slip the panel out. Clean = this puppy will be dusty and who knows what all.
Pop out the speakers now, unclip the wires, remove the mounts carefully, put in the new speakers, and clip the wires to new speakers, drop them in, and re-assemble the interior.
Figure four hours plus cleaning and adjustment time.
I have done this twice. However, do not do this in the presence of children, as they repeat what they hear. They space is small, the seat belts get in the way, the clips "break," and you get cramped in the back seat area. :banghead:
