Disable DRLs, Reset Oil Life Indicator for 2002 Escalade

I'll break the ice.

To disable the Daytime Running Lights for the 2002 Escalade:
Press the Dome Override button 4 times within 6 seconds and wait for the chime.
Note: This also turns off the Automatic Headlights.

To reset the Oil Life indicator for the 2002 Escalade:
With the key in the on position, motor off, press the accelerator to the floor 3 times and watch the Driver Info Center. It should flash, in orange, 'Oil Life Reset'

Other Caddy's. 1996 STS. Under the hood is a fuse box on the R/h inner fender. In the fuse box is a 10 amp fuse in the upper L/H corner marked DRL. Pull it out. All the stock lights continue to function normaly.

you can also hack into the dic on 96-97 sevilles and 96-02 eldos to have the drls turned off

You need to wire a resistor in the place of the ambient light sensor that will only allow the BCM to see 1.7-4.7v
